The Volksparkstadion and the Barclays Arena are a dream come true for sports and music lovers. As a family, we enjoyed watching exciting matches and concerts at these fantastic venues. The atmosphere was electric, creating unforgettable memories for all of us.
For dads, it would be great if there were more family-friendly activities or games available for children.

The place was awesome! the kitchen was fully furnished and super clean. I loved being able to cook my own meals and save some money. the living area was small but really cool, and the vending machines had a great selection, including chicken noodle soup that I could cook late at night if I got hungry. the rooms were big enough and had enough free parking space, which was a huge plus.
The location was a bit of a downside. It was pretty far from the city center and you had to take the metro to get there, which cost 6 euros for a day pass.

The Hamburg Dungeon: A chillingly educational experience, with actor-led shows and scary rides, making it a great day out for the whole family. The database mentions it as "600 years of Hamburg's darkest and most gory history". It's like stepping into a horror movie, but with lots of historical facts!
No individual lights on top bunk beds: It was a little antisocial for us to turn on the room light at night.

Spacious lounges and a well-equipped kitchen: The first and second floors of the hotel were a welcome surprise. The lounges were so spacious, it felt like I had stumbled into a grand living room. And the kitchen, oh boy! It was like having my own personal chef, except I was the chef! I could prepare a warm meal or enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, just like at home.
Safety in the neighborhood: While the location of the hotel was still convenient, the neighborhood didn't feel as safe as I would have liked.

the hostel exceeded our expectations, with its clean and modern rooms, helpful staff, and convenient location. The woman at the front desk provided us with valuable travel advice and money-saving tips. The kitchen was a nice bonus, but remember to bring your own tea or coffee for the coffee machine.
Towels were not provided, making it difficult to dry off after showering.

The rooms were huge and cleaned every day, and the bathroom was super clean too. We even had a water boiler in our room for all the tea we needed. The staff was hella friendly and helpful, and the kitchen had all the equipment we needed. Plus, it's so close to the S-Bahn that we could easily get to The Volksparkstadion and the Barclays Arena for mad sports and music vibes!
If there's one thing we would've liked, it's a better party scene for us party-loving peeps. But hey, we still had a blast exploring Hamburg!

I chose this hotel for attending a conclave as it offers refunds for performances already booked as long as the hotel continues its operations. The staff at the reception was kind and helpful, and the self check-in process was easy. The location near a train station was very convenient, and I had friendly roommates throughout my enjoyable stay.
The only service that I missed for my work was a fully functioning shower head, as it was fixed and unable to be adjusted.
